As the practice grows and the services we offer continue to develop we want to ensure we can still provide every client with the time and service they deserve.
We have expanded the team by adding two experienced clinicians to make sure you continue to have plenty of time with your Optometrist.
Our first new arrival is Sam Howe who has joined us as an Optometrist and Clinical Director. He brings ten years of experience in independent optometry. His diploma in dry eye will help us develop our growing dry eye service further and he will soon complete his independent prescribing course, widening our expertise and giving you more treatment options within the practice. Sam will be working some sessions in the Hospital Eye service alongside his work with us. He is a keen hiker and on his weekends off can be found walking up mountains in the Lake District. His experience as a hockey player for Petersfield means he adds a new perspective to our expertise in sports vision.
Next up is Ella who has joined us as a Dispensing Optician. She brings nine years’ experience in multiple and independent opticians. She is developing her expertise in contact lenses and will help us to improve and widen our contact lens service. Her interest in all aspects of eyes means she enjoys sitting in at the eye hospital to gain insights and experience, especially in paediatric clinics. Keen to give something back, Ella recently did a charity abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.
The final arrival is even more exciting! Emily (our wonderful receptionist) brought the lovely Benjamin into the world at the end of June. Emily and Benjamin are both doing well and we are all looking forward to meeting him.
