As we move forward into a new season, we’d like to share our plans. We continue to operate on a “by-appointment only” basis to restrict numbers in the practice and maintain our Covid-secure environment. As you may know, we are back to offering routine eye-care appointments but with slightly longer appointment times. For contact lens appointments, we are operating on a case by case basis.
New Covid-secure measures – what we are doing
We are investing in a brand new air and surface sanitising system that will raise hygiene standards to a level above what is possible with traditional cleaning alone. This system is usually found in hospitals and care homes. In the consulting room, air can be exchanged within 12 minutes to neutralise airborne threats. In addition there will be air sterilisation and surface sanitising units fitted throughout the practice which use a combination of 5 technologies including germicidal UV-C to remove unhealthy microbes from the air and maintain sanitised surfaces.

We have some exciting new stock coming from Chanel, Tom Ford, Tom Davies and more. We will soon be welcoming a capsule collection of Porsche Design sunglasses, renowned for their innovation, precision and functional elegance.
As we spend more time indoors on our screens and digital devices, we can offer you specialist lenses to relieve eye strain and make your eyes more comfortable. With the evenings drawing in and driving more in the dark, we also have lens solutions to help reduce headlight glare.
