19/01/21Third Lockdown – Update 19th January
During this third lockdown we firmly agree that staying at home is vitally important.
Government guidance states that under the latest rules people can leave home for medical appointments and to “avoid injury, illness or risk of harm”. The College of Optometrists advises that members should continue to provide eye care under lockdown for anyone who experiences eyesight changes or problems.
We are here to help with any of your eyecare needs and will do so in a way that balances your best interests with the current COVID situation. Please contact us by phone or email for advice if you have any concerns about your vision. We can initially triage you remotely and invite you in for an appointment if necessary.
Eyecare charity Fight for Sight chief executive Sherine Krause recently told the BBC, “More than half of all cases of sight loss are avoidable through early detection and prevention methods. Regular eye tests can often detect symptomless sight-threatening conditions.”
You can see in the video below how we have worked hard to make you feel comfortable and safe.
If you need any help or advice please phone 01243 532080 or email email@example.com and we can discuss the best way forward.
