We are delighted that since launch, our REXON Dry Eye treatment is delivering steadily improving results. As more of our customers benefit from the state-of-the-art dry eye care programme, our statistics show consistently positive outcomes, leaving patients with happier, healthier eyes.
So far 73 patients have experienced our QMR treatment since we launched the programme. The feedback is very positive with average dry eye symptoms improving by 50 per cent after the treatment. Many of our patients have now come back for their annual top up and report a significant lasting benefit to their dry eye issues.
These results are based on solid data as measured on the OSDI scale, and translate into a real-life major feeling of relief from the misery of dry eyes. A life of eye drops and eye bags is a thing of the past for some of our patients, they feel as though this treatment has given them relief they never thought would come.
Alongside this Rexon Dry Eye treatment, we are excited to now offer further specialist dry eye services.
The NuLids Pro Kit is an in-practice treatment designed to effectively remove biofilm from the eyelid margins and eyelashes. Key features include eyelid microexfoliation treatment providing complete and precise elimination of the crusting and remains of bacteria along the eyelids. This also provides decapping of inspissated Meibomian Glands in a simple four-minute treatment (one minute per eyelid margin).
In another new advancement in our eye care services, you can also now ask us about SOFT PLUG® Extended Duration Punctum Plugs. These are small dissolvable cylinders that can be simply placed into your eyes tear drainage ducts. This reduces tear drainage and improves your tear volume and eyes comfort.
