It’s been a busy and exciting year for all of us at CI Optometrists, staff and clients alike.
On a personal level, my four children are growing up and it’s been a good year for us all.
As a practice we are all looking forward to welcoming Livia back after her maternity leave in January. She is looking forward to helping all of our clients again.
The business itself has changed its name this year but without changing its ethos. We are now officially CI Optometrists. Claudine is still a very important part of the business, testing 2-3 days a week, and we are proud of our hard-earned reputation and heritage she built up. But the new name is easier to spell and say, and C and I are the perfect initials for an Optician.
The CI Club has continued to grow and we now have nearly 700 members enjoying the significant benefits of being part of our practice. If you would like to join them please get in touch for more information.
Introducing our in-practice dry eye treatment using the Rexon Eye QMR machine has been a great success. The third cohort of clients has enjoyed the treatment and the ongoing eye comfort that stays with them. Feedback is excellent and it’s really made a difference to those who have had it.
The dry eye treatment is so popular it is already fully booked for January. If your New Year’s resolution for 2024 is to deal with your dry, irritable or watery eyes then please get in touch now. We can book you in from February, but we expect demand to grow as the word, and the comfort, spread.
2023 turned some of our loyal clients into film stars. Check out the videos on our website and see what you think. Thanks very much to Pat, Sharon, Nigel, Rachel, and the youngsters who really stole the show.
Over the year we continued to update our exciting frame collections with amazing styles from La Eyeworks and Blake Kuwhara. They are in the practice now and ready for you to try. Treat yourself to an early Christmas present perhaps, or a new look for a New Year.
Many of you welcome winter because you love winter sports. Now is the time to check out your winter sunglasses and pop into the practice to ensure you have the latest, smartest and safest eyewear ready for the slopes.
As usual we will be shut between Christmas and New Year to give everyone some valuable time off with their families.
