It’s coming up to Christmas and that marks the time when we can look back at a satisfying year bringing the best in eye care to Chichester.
It has been the busiest year ever at CI Optometrists as our newly expanded team and more functional working times have enabled more of you to benefit from the best in eye care and eyewear.
At the same time we have reduced our environmental impact and I am proud to tell you that Ci Optometrists are now fully carbon and plastic neutral as a business.
Our Dry Eye service continues to grow and as more of you benefit from better eye comfort we are adding services such as micro-exfoliation to our brilliant QMR dry eye treatment programme. Ask us about it, don’t suffer from dry eyes when there are ways to be more comfortable.
Our Ci Club membership continues to grow as more of you benefit from moving to a regular monthly payment in return for better access to eye care and significant reductions when you make purchases.
This year we’ve taken pride in supporting local initiatives in order to see our community thrive. One exciting sponsorship this year has been of the audio described performances at Chichester Festival Theatre. We are so thrilled to be a spotlight sponsor and were able to take our visually impaired customers to an audio described show where they were able to get involved with the stage props as well as make use of the amazing service that volunteer audio describers provide at the theatre. Keep watch as we’ll be sure to be doing this again in 2026. Outside of the arts, we continue with our passion of supporting local sports clubs including CHIPCC and the Womens Squash Team at Chichester Racquets Club.
During the year I and most of our team have taken time to visit major international trade fairs. It takes us away from the practice but it brings significant benefits for you. By attending these trade fairs we see all the suppliers globally, not just those who have local representation. That way we can be sure you are benefitting from the best eyecare technology, best practice and the newest and best-looking frames and eyecare ranges, not just in the UK but globally. It’s good to know that in Chichester you don’t have to envy how they look in Paris or Milan!
