08/12/22Christmas News at CI Optometrists

It’s the season of good cheer so here are some things to be cheerful about!

Enter our competition

If you are a member of our CI Club you are automatically entered into our first ever CI Club Christmas draw. On 16th December we will randomly draw two lucky CI Club members who will each win a hamper of local products to help them enjoy the Christmas and New Year season.

What could be better than an unexpected gift of some Montezuma’s chocolate, made in Birdham with hints of Mexico, and a bottle of Ashling Park’s award-winning English Sparkling Wine?

We set up our CI Club this year. This is a scheme where for a small monthly payment (from £10) you can pay for all your eye care in affordable installments. You also get discounts on glasses and contact lenses.

Call us now if you want more information on the CI Club.

More reasons to be cheerful

Our work family is growing! Two new staff members have joined us to ensure we keep giving you the best possible eye care service. Kerry is an experienced dispensing optician and she is joined by Maria in the front of house team.

Meanwhile 2022 has also been an exciting year for the team outside of work. Emily married her lovely partner Ed, my wife Rachel and I have had a fourth child, Clara, and Livia, has had her first baby, Charlie!

We have had a busy year!

CI Optometrists has continued to invest in the latest eye testing technology including a new state of the art OCT and Visual Field screener, which helps us ensure you get the most thorough eye check possible every time you need one.

In addition to all that, we are also using a brand new lens technology, the DNEye scanner, which allows us to make Varifocal lenses that are more bespoke than ever before.

We continue to push forward with lots of new contact lens technology, especially in varifocal contact lenses to offer you the best choice for your individual needs.

A reminder for young people

We stay inside a lot during the winter, so it’s a good time of the year to think about how your children read and use screens. Our technology-led approach to myopia management gives your children the right access to the contact lenses and glasses they need to slow the progression of short-sightedness. If this is something you are concerned about or believe your child would benefit from, get in touch with our team and we’ll be happy to help.

Christmas Opening Hours

We will be open as usual until Friday 23rd of December so phone or drop in if there is anything we can help you with. We are then closed until 9am on Tuesday 2nd January.

From me, my family and all the team at CI Optometrists we wish you a Happy Christmas and a Merry and Prosperous New Year.
